There is Divine Protection in God’s Presence

A few years ago, just before Christmas, I heard a distinct voice saying, “I shall enlarge the pegs of your tent.” I struggled with the meaning of these words until I realized my “tent” was my spiritual covering. Up until this time, I was constantly in conflict with demonic powers trying to stop this ministry. But since that morning I have been better able to cope with these forces.

Psalm 91 tells us that IF we make the presence of God our dwelling place, we have divine protection. Verses 9 and 10 in the Amplified Version read: “Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, there shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your TENT.

I now understand the importance of spending time in prayer and Bible reading to keep ourselves under divine protection. Only under the cover of God’s “tent” can we find peace in a world of terror!
