The Bride

God's Purified People are the “Bride” of Christ

“Behold, I come quickly”~(Rev.22:12)

The Bible tells us that every born-again Christian is part of Christ’s body. This means that as with marriage, the true followers of Christ become one with Him--His “Bride.” In John 17, Jesus prayed to His Father “that they all may be one, as You Father are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us.” What an incredible prayer!

When we invite Jesus to live IN us, He also makes it possible for us to live IN Him just as He lives IN His Father. He prays for us that we will all be one just as He and His Father are one.

Jesus is taking His Bride today through a time of purification. This reminds us of the story of Esther in the Bible who required twelve months of beauty treatments before she was ready to meet the king. We who

are the Bride of Christ are being prepared for our wedding to the King of glory! His plan is to take us with Him for seven years during the Great Tribulation on the earth, then after the seven years we will return with Him to help Him set up His kingdom of “peace.on earth, good will to men.”
