A song of overcoming is rising from the earth,
A powerful song of heaven from those who've had new birth.
No more tears or crying, no more sorrow, pain, or strife,
Your church, O Lord, is wakening and filling with new life.

The life we have is yours Lord, it was won on the cross
Won over earthly failings, won over sin and loss.
The song we sing is beautiful--united, pure, and clear
Resounding to the heavens, for heaven's very near.

As earth and heav'n draw closer, yet closer now to Thee,
Multitudes, yes, multitudes, bow down on bended knee.
Songs of praise grow louder, your Bride now joining hands
To praise our loving Bridegroom on whom our vict'ry stands.

The Bride for whom you're coming is spotless, pure and white,
Kings and priests to You Lord, praying day and night.
Cleansed, restored, and purified, our hearts to You made true
The veil dividing heav'n and earth You have now cut in two.

As mercy, grace, and peace, Lord, fall down upon your Bride,
Your love is ever flowing from out your wounded side.
Like cloud and fire they're falling--your glory from above
Is filling us who love you with peace, and joy, and love.
