To My Friend

I have a little message that I'd like to send to you,
To give appreciation for the many things you do.
You've given me encouragement, acceptance help, and love
To point the way to Jesus Christ, and to our God above.

So please accept my gratitude for staying true and strong,
When all around you everything has seemed to go all wrong.
Remember Jesus loves the every hair upon your head,
And that He'll feed and water you as by Him you are led.

So bless you now. Just keep your eyes upon your Lord and God
Keep looking up--just looking up--as each new day you've trod.
The manna's thick above you, dear, it's soon about to fall,
Just keep your faith in Jesus Christ, for He is Lord of all.
