The presence of God is a mountain
High over the world of sin,
Yet sinners can climb up boldly
A life of prayer to begin.
For there on the holy mountain
God speaks to His children dear
When they have learned to listen
And open their sinful ear.
You see, the way up the mountain
Is not too hard to find
If only we are willing
To leave all 'self' behind.
So as I learn to love Him
He'll take me by the hand
And help me up the mountain
To in His presence stand.
It's only on the mountain
His glory I will see
Jesus with his outstretched arms
Is waiting there for me. |
