The End-Time Battle

There's a war in the heavenlies raging,
The battle lines have been drawn;
Light and the Dark are in conflict
All earth is awaiting the dawn.

There's a wonderful promise for Christians
That Jesus is soon to return.
But church, O dear church, are you ready
To stand firm till the battle is won?

We ask You forgive us dear Father,
For all the sins we have done.
We want to stand holy and blameless
United and pure when You come.

Dear children please pick up your armour
Get ready to fight the last war
Jesus gives us the weapons to fight with,
So what are you now waiting for?

We must walk in the Light, not the darkness
Which grows thicker with each passing day.
The Light is, my child, Jesus' presence
Going before us to show us the Way.

So stay in the light of God's glory
Pick up your armour and smile
We must not be fretful, or worry
We're not alone on this last mile.

'Tis almost the end of our journey,
Satan doesn't want us to know
That we can be carried to heaven -
'Tis Satan's final death-blow.

So praises and honour to Jesus
The One who will help us along.
We'll end this journey while joining
The angels to sing heaven's song.

Give glory and honour to Jesus
Who returned to the Father that we
Would have a place ready in heaven -
A place ready for you and for me!
