My Lord is calling to tell all His children -
That's you and that's me, don't you see?
"Please shake off your grave clothes of fear and deception
And then I can set you all free.
My tomb is now empty, for I have arisen;
I live inside those who love Me.
Please shake off the shackles of grave clothes that bind you
Come, children, come walk with Me.
When I left the tomb I walked to Emmaus
But nobody recognized Me.
They couldn't believe I had shed all my grave clothes,
That I was alive and free.
So come now and walk with Me, children of promise,
Come walk to Emmaus with Me.
For as you come and walk closely beside Me
Then you will recognize Me.
For I am the Jesus, the Christ, your Messiah,
The One crucified for you;
But now I have risen, I'll stay close beside you
To you I will always be true.
Come with Me, children, take off those grave clothes,
For they are no longer yours.
Like Me, you are risen, your sin is forgiven,
Just keep watch, My coming is near.
