When Earth and Heaven Meet

Our Lord's voice resounds today like a trumpet

throughout the entire universe.

All earth and heaven seem to meet

as He sounds His wake-up call.

Dear church, take time to listen to that trumpet;

Stop and consider what it means:

this is the day you must make a decision

whether you want to heed the call or live in sin.

You see, Jesus has told us that everyone is invited

to a great wedding feast in heaven,

but many there are who will be left behind

because they won't be expecting Him!

The trumpet is His wake-up call to all mankind,

a warning of what is to come,

but be not afraid if He dwells in your heart,

just repent, get ready, and He'll take you with Him...

PRAYER:

Dear Jesus, Your Word goes forth as a double-edged sword

cutting out the evil that men would commit.

We who know wait and watch as You asked--

wait for You to come forth as the mighty Bridegroom

to deliver Your own dear children out of this evil world.

A serenade of love we now sing

calling all men on the earth

to glorify Your Name for all eternity,

and worship You in Spirit and in truth.

We just want to praise You, bless You, and love You--

You, dear Jesus, give us such hope,

such joy, and such peace in these dark days of terror,

knowing that our future is in Your precious hands.

You are mighty, You are 'All Mighty'

and we worship You today:

Jeshua, our Lord and our God,

our Messiah, King of all heaven and earth.

May Your Word go forth in power as earth and heaven meet,

as we, Your people, humbly bow before Your sacred feet.”
