A Church Prayer

Joyful hearts to You we offer,

Grateful lives to You we bring

For the grace You've given to us

Let us now Your praises sing.

Thank you, Father, for Your mercy,

Thank you for release from sin.

May we demonstrate Your mercy

As we give Your love to man;

Blessing, helping, and forgiving,

Loving him the way You can.

Give us love that has no limits,

Love unstained by sin of man.

Praying for the Father's wisdom,

Praying for the Spirit's power,

Those who were the Church before us

Found You with them every hour.

Help us learn their greatest secrets

As we seek to find Thy power.

As we gaze towards the future,

May we find no cause for fear;

Change or persecution 'round us

Only help us know You're near.

Hope lies bright before u, blazing,

And consuming all our fear.

To You and Your Son give praises,

Alleluias now we sing.

Help us to remain united,

As one, let our praises bring.

Praise to Father, Son, and Spirit,

While eternal ages ring!
