WATCH AND PRAY

October 16, 1986

As I asked My disciples to watch and pray before My crucifixion, I now ask all those who love Me throughout all the world to watch and pray before My return. As I warned in the parable of the ten virgins, no man will know when I am coming and that you must be on the alert. I love all men throughout the earth regardless of their spiritual condition, but I can only take those who have purified themselves before Me and have not bowed the knee to Baal. Repent therefore, and be baptized by Me with the fire of My Holy Spirit as My disciples were at Pentecost. I desire that all should come into My kingdom and that none should perish in the cold winter night. I have tried to speak first through the prophets, then I even came to live among you, but not all would listen to My words and My warnings of the consequence of your continued sins. A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but there will be no sign given it. Only to those with ears to hear and eyes to see can I make Myself known and understood. Prepare, therefore, for the Lord of the harvest to reap the souls of His own beloved throughout the earth. My harvest is white and ready and I need help to gather it in so that many souls will be saved before I come as the final reaper to clear out the fields. Warn all men of My soon return that they may prepare and make ready so that none may perish. It is good news which must be told to all men before I come again. I love you, and wish to cradle you in the palm of My hand, but destruction and judgment await all who insist on having things their own way and refuse to move along as My Spirit leads them. Do not be deceived by many who claim to be of Me, but remember no man knows the time or place of my return. Watch, therefore, and pray so that no one can deceive you. I love My own people so much and will care for them in a special way. THUS SAYETH THE LORD.
