And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law

I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

The book of the geneology of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Then God said: "No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting convenant, and with his descendants after him.

I see Him, but not now: I behold him, but not near; a Star shall come out of Jacob, a Scepter shall rise out of Isreal...

Abraham begot Isaac; and Isaac begot Jacob; and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers

The scepter shall not depart from Judah; nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people

Jesus...the son of Joseph... the son of Judah.

I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David: Your seed I will establish forever...

Seed of David

Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem where David was?

Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgement and with justice from that time forward, even forever...

He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; And He will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

But thou, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be ruler in Isreal: whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David to be registered with Mary his betrothed wife, who was with child... And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and to build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.

And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria.

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary...And the angel said unto her, Fear not Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Thus says the LORD: "A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are no more."

Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying:

"A voice was heard in Rama, lamentation, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted because they were no more."

When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son.

When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt, and was there until the death of Herod that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, "Out of Egypt I called my Son."

"Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom you delight. Behold He is coming," says the Lord of hosts

When the messengers of John had departed, He began to speak to the multitudes concerning John, "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?"... This is HE, of whom it is written, "Behold I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You."

"I will declare the decree: the Lord has said to me, You are My Son; today I have begotten You..."

And suddenly a voice came from heaven saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed, as when at first He lightly esteemed the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward more heavily oppressed her, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the Gentiles. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, "The land of Zebulun, and the land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; The people who sat in darkness saw a great light; and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light is dawned.

The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear..."

"And that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before... For Moses truly said to the fathers, "The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor.He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

The Lord hath sworn, and will not relent, "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."

So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."

"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey..."

Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments on it, and He sat on it. Then those who went before and those who followed cried ut, saying: 'Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!' And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.

Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

And while He was still speaking, behold a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him,

but Jesus said to him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss"?

Then I said to them, "If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain." So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, "What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?" And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.

Fierce witnesses rise up; they ask me things that I do not know.

And some rose up and bore false witness against Him saying, "We heard Him say, 'I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.'"

He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.

Then Pilate asked Him again sahing, "Do You answer nothing? See how many things they testify against You!" But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled.

I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hie My face from shame and spitting.

Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands.

Let them not rejoice over me who are wrongfully my enemies; nor let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause

"If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. "But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, "They hated Me without a cause."

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, an by His stripes we are healed.

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.

Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And He was numbered with the transgressors."

And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; they they will look on Me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.

All those who see Me laugh Me to scorn; they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, " He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him; let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!"

And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered sahing, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God."

They also gave me gall for my food, and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

They gave Him vinegar mingled with gall to drink . But when He had tasted it, He would not drink.

In return for my love they are my accusers, but I give myself to prayer

Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots.

I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.

Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: "They divided Mny garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots." Sitting down, they kept watch over Him there.

He guards all his bones; not one of them is broken.

Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs...for these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, "Not one of His bones shall be broken.

And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.

And they made His grave with the wicked--but with the rich at His death, because He had done no violence.Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Now when evening had come, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus. This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given to him. And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed.

For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

Psalm 49:15

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, for He shall receive me.

But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed, You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

But go and tell His disciples--and Peter--that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you."

You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, even among the rebellious, that the Lord God might dwell there.

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

and that He was buried, and that He rose again he third day according to the Scriptures.

Eph. 4:8

Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men."
