About the Author

Doreen Palmer, author of this website, began her writing career following a very unusual experience.

A Calling

Doreen was awakened on the morning of May 6, 1985, by a loud voice repeating three times the words, "Comfort ye, comfort ye My people." This call resulted in a weekly newspaper column, Hope for Tomorrow, the writing and publication of two books, and later the publication of this site. Several tragic life experiences had equipped Doreen to carry out this calling, and with the help of her husband Neville, a World-War II veteran, they ministered to single parents in their home for over ten years.

Qualifications

Doreen Palmer is a graduate of Wilfred Laurier University with a major in Religious Studies. She also holds a Secretarial Specialist Certificate in Business Education, and taught secretarial subjects in high school for 17 years.

For more than 25 years Doreen taught Sunday School in the United Church of Canada. She presently attends "Shekinah Restoration Center" in Mississauga, and sometimes conferences and special events at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship."

Doreen has written two books: "Overcoming in the End-Time Church" and "Life from the Ark". A revised edition of "Life from the Ark" soon to be published on this site is entitled: "The Lost Ark is Found." Doreen's other writings, translated into several languages, may be viewed on this website also.
